Happy Birthday Finn

A few weeks ago we celebrated Finn's first birthday. 12 months! Where did that go? My tiny chubby-cheeked newborn is now a giant chubby-cheeked toddler - with the tantrums to match!
I must say that I do love this age. Yes the mess is hard work but they are so much fun and develop so many new skills all day.

Finn can walk, run, kick a ball, fetch a book and climb stairs. We are still struggling using a spoon. he's definitely all about the gross motor! He talks a lot in his own language and occasionally slips out something that sounds like daddy or banana.

We had a little birthday party in a local hall with an outdoor play area and castle which was a big hit with the kids. I cleverly decided to get it catered which saved a lot of stress on the day.
